Women's Health Nurse Practitioner 

Job type: Full-time position and Part-time position available.

Overview:  An expanding private medical group located in New York City, is now looking for an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Location: Downtown NYC, Financial District

Position Summary: Your role in our team would be to provide patient-centered primary care to female patients of all ages (over 18). Everyday procedures mostly include annual exams, health counseling services, preventative services, and provide referrals to relevant specialists when necessary.

You will be provided with proper training to work in our setting, but please note this is a fast-paced setting. It is an important role that requires a lot of responsibility and effort.

Your day-to-day job duties will include:
-  Perform office visit reason such as Annual Exams, birth control and family planning, care during perimenopause and menopause, IUD insertion and removal, and management of sexually transmitted diseases

  • Review lab results and follow up with patients
  • Call patients and properly explain results to them
  • Order diagnostics tests and interpret lab results
  • Communicate well with MA’s and Physicians in a team manner

Necessary requirements:
-   At least 2 years working as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

  • NP Certification
  • NYS RN and NP with Master’s degree
  • Experience using an EMR system
  • A good reference from prior employer
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Very well-mannered
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English

Compensation:

UltraSound Technician 

Ultrasound Technician - GYN Office

Job type:
Part-time position, 1-2 days a week. This position can grow into a Full-Time opportunity later this year.

Overview:  An expanding private medical group located in New York City, is now looking for a motivated individual with experience to fill our ultrasound technician position. The right individual will have experience in performing basic transvaginal sonograms, setting up rooms and equipment, and providing patients with a comfortable environment.

Location: Downtown NYC, Financial District

Position Summary: Your role in our team would be to properly perform transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasound scans to examine the internal female reproductive system while maintaining a compassionate and professional attitude towards patients.

Your day-to-day job duties will include:
-   Provide patients with a comfortable and compassionate setting behind closed exam room doors

  • Perform basic transvaginal sonograms to capture clear images of the internal female organs
  • Applies knowledge of anatomy, positioning and imaging techniques to provide a better quality of ultrasound images
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order
  • Provide accurate computerized ultrasound reports, with proper formatting
  • Maintains a sterile environment at all times
  • Share abnormalities with physicians
  • Performs any other assignments ordered by the physician

Necessary requirements:
-   At least 2 years working as an ultrasound technician

-   Experience in an OBGYN setting is preferred but not required

  • A good reference from prior employer
  • ARDMS Certified or graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Very well-mannered
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English

Compensation:
$30-$36 an hour starting based on experience. Strong benefits and salary after 2 years.

Medical Assistant 

Medical Assistant - OBGYN Office

Full-time position

The right individual should have experience in providing proper patient care in an exam room and communicating clearly and effectively with professional physicians. Position Summary: Your role in our team would be to properly provide clinical support to physicians, provide patient support and assistance, and perform important office responsibilities such as organizing lab reports and referral information, setting up rooms, and other MA tasks.

You will be provided with proper training to work in our setting, but please note this is a busy position and requires patience and the ability to work well under pressure. Your day-to-day job duties will include:
-   Communicate in a team manner with our medical receptionist

  • Obtain, send, and organize incoming lab reports, ultrasound reports, referrals, and relevant patient medical records
  • Prepare prescription refills using our EMR/EHR system
  • Set up exam rooms
  • Sterilize Equipment
  • Assisting the physician with maintaining charts, test results, and other forms
  • Take vitals and assist physicians with other procedures
  • Update patient demographics
  • Call patients and relay results as per physicians instructions
  • Order medical supplies and keep track of inventory
  • At times check and verify insurance as well as provide assistance to the receptionist
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Necessary requirements:
-   At least 2 years working as a medical assistant

  • Previous OBGYN experience preferred, not required
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Good reference from prior employer
  • Team player mentality
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Very well-mannered
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English

Medical Receptionist 

Medical Receptionist - OBGYN Office

Position Summary: Your role in our team would be to properly greet patients, assist patients, register patients into our EHR, politely accept copays and patient deductibles, communicate with our Medical Assistant and Physicians.
